Indian men’s wear—purely ethnic


If some ones asks me a question that traditional ethnic wear exist no more and western style is ruling all over I would say no .Though at present entire humankind is crazy about fashion, their souls are emotionally involved to their background and culture. Thus the fashion industries are launching fashionable plus traditional attire for men. Today men’s apparel is sparkling .Delicate embroideries and crystals are adding liveliness to the Indian men outfits. There is amazing varities of traditional clothe to embellish their individuality.Sherwani, achkans, jodhpuri kurta pajama, suits are some of the examples. Nobody could imagine that our ethnic costumes and style would make a cat walk on ramps. In silk Kurtas with loose or fit pajama/churidar men’s looks splendid, dashing and cool dud and turns into center of attraction. Their wardrobes are giving place to traditional outfits of rich brocade and dazzling colors which they can wear during celebrations like Dandiya raas, Diwali, wedding parties and so on.


Though it differs according to religion, climate and local customs .Mostly in village’s traditional wears is worn out. In south India the men wears dhoti (lengthy white sheets of cloth) and t-shirt or shirt above dhoti. In most famous Durga puja festival every men of social stratum and others wear silk kurtas.

In Manipur men wear lungi (a single piece of cloth).In Tripura they wear single piece of cloth and a head covering turban .Bhil in Rajasthan wear loincloth, embodied waist coats and turban. Punjabi’s wear lungi (tehmat) of silk designed in multiple shades and pagdi (turban).

Tribes in Daman, coast of Mumbai, Surat apply dhoti and waist coat. The natives of east India also wear lungi since they are cultivators. There is no limit of varieties for traditional clothe in India.


ON THE WHOLE INDIAN TRADITIONAL APPARELS ARE FASHIONABLE AND COMFORTABLE..
