How To Wear Veshti- Mundu (dravidian style)

Dravidian style of sari wrapping is very common in the southern part of India. The classic Dravidian sari is called as the “veshti-mundanai” or “mundu set” that has two saris in it: first part (The veshti) is wrapped in the lower body; whiles the mundu, is used to drape the upper body. The veshti is generally 4 yards in length and wrapping is very simple as it wrapped like a towel around the waist area. This we have to fold in half laterally. The mundu is generally one yard in breadth and two yards long. Generally these saris are plain all-over with a border.
