This is the very common style of sari wrapping in Maharashtra and is similar to the way the Maharashtra dhoti is worn. In this style the center of the sari is neatly placed at the back side of your waist and the end of the sari is tied firmly in the front, after that the two ends are draped around the legs. The “palla” (decorative ends) are then draped over your upper body torso and the shoulder .
